Overview

We are currently seeking Civil Engineering students for 4-12 month work in our corporate office in  downtown Toronto, ON.

What you will be doing

  • Assist in preparing Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), clarifications, and client presentations.
  • Draft and proofread technical and commercial content for proposals and statement of qualifications.
  • Coordinate submission schedules, file management, and document control related to bids.
  • Maintain RFI logs and manage bid-related documentation workflows.
  • Participate in reviewing and organizing prime contracts, teaming agreements, and design service contracts.
  • Support the identification and quantification of project risks and assist in third-party due diligence reviews.
  • Assist with quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and preparation of comparison sheets for supplier/subcontractor quotes.
  • Research and identify local subcontractors and suppliers and solicit competitive pricing.
  • Support work breakdown structure development and estimating documentation.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings with clients, partners, and consultants; prepare meeting minutes and follow-ups.
  • Help maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support commercial data analysis, including cost tracking, bid outcomes, and business intelligence reports.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal reviews and senior management.
  • Coordinate the delivery of project deliverables in collaboration with technical teams and management.
  • Support the project and estimating teams with other duties as required to complete bid and pre-construction phases.

What we are looking for

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering /Graduate Certificate program in Construction Management.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Experience with/knowledge of Bluebeam/Revu.
  • Previous drafting experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit would be considered an asset.
