What you will be doing

  • Coordinate overall project document control and file management
  • Coordinate preparation and delivery of project deliverables as required
  • Review requests for qualification, requests for proposal, addenda, and all other contractual documents
  • Maintain RFI Log 
  • Prepare project presentations and participate in meetings with clients, joint venture partners and consultants and maintains meeting minutes to share with the internal team
  • Prepare statement of qualification packages, proposals, clarifications and presentations to clients
  • Prepare work breakdown structures, quantity takeoffs, and requests for quotes
  • Identify local subcontractors and suppliers, solicit quotes and prepare comparison sheets
  • Participate in preliminary and final cost estimates 
  • Participate in the coordination of design development with design team members on Design-Build projects
  • Assist the project manager and estimating team when help is needed
  • Coordinate overall project document control and file management

What we are looking for

  • University Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction or another relevant discipline
  • Pursuing P. Eng designation will be considered an asset
  • 2-5 years of experience in construction (including coop experience) 
  • Previous experience carrying take-offs would be considered an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
  • Experience with/knowledge of Bluebeam/Revu
  • Previous drafting experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit would be considered an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good initiative, attention to details
  • Ability to work in a team environment
